Glyndwr Hughes yn arwyddo / Glyndwr Hughes signs
13/08/2010 21:58Fe gadarnhaodd rheolwr Bont, Andre Marsh, y bore ma (11/08/10) fod Glyndwr Hughes wedi arwyddo i'r clwb ar gyfer y tymor newydd.
Fe adroddwyd ynghynt yn yr wythnos fod Marsh yn obeithiol y byddai'r cyn chwaraewr Tref Aberystwyth yn arwyddo. Mae Hughes, sy'n cael ei alw'n 'Paddy' gan gyd-chwaraewyr a chefnogwyr, wedi bod yn hyfforddi gyda Bont dros yr haf ac wedi chwarae mewn dwy gem gyfeillgar. Ond, doedd dim yn sicr nes fod ei lofnod ar y papur, a cafodd hynny ei sicrhau dro nos yn dilyn eu buddugoliaeth o 7-0 yn erbyn Crannog.
"Mae arwyddo chwaraewr o safon Paddy yn hwb enfawr i'r tîm," meddai Marsh. "Mae'r garfan yn un gref fel ag y mae - fydden ni ddim wedi ennill y gynghrair llynedd fel arall - ond mae chwaraewr fel Glyndwr yn mynd i gryfhau unrhyw dîm."
Bont FC Manager, Andre Marsh, announced today (11/08/10) that Glyndwr Hugheshas signed for the club for the new season.
It was reported earlier on in the week that Marsh was hopeful the formerAbrystwyth Town player would sign. Hughes, whom is known locally as 'Paddy', has been training with Bont over the summerand has played in two of the teams friendlies. But nothing was deffinate until he signed on the dotted line - which he did following the teams 7-0 friendly victory over Crannon on Monday evening.
"Signing a player of Paddy's quaity is a huge boost for the team," said Marsh. "We already have a strong squad - we wouldn't have won the league last season otherwise - but a player of Glyndwr's ability would strengthen any team."
