Bont i chwarae gêm gyntaf / Bont to kick off season

Bydd Bont yn dechrau'r tymor newydd gyda gêm gwpan gartref yn erbyn Carno ddydd Sadwrn.

Mae'r gêm yn rownd gyntaf Tlws yr FA a bydd rheolwr Bont, Andre Marsh, yn gobeithio dechrau'r tymor newydd yn yr un modd ag y gorffenwyd yr hen un...gyda buddugoliaeth gêm gwpan.

Y newyddion da i'r tîm cartref yw fod Glyndwr Hughes ar gael ac yn ffit i chwarae ei gêm gyntaf i'r clwb ers dychwelyd o Aberystwyth. Er hynny, bydd nifer o chwaraewyr dylanwadol ar goll i'r tîm cartref. Nid yw'r chwaraewr canol cae, Owain Schiavone, ar gael i chwarae oherwydd ymrwymiadau teuluol, tra bod Sion Jones ar ei wyliau. Hefyd yn eisiau bydd y dylanwadol Dewi Sion Evans a Michael Lowe sydd ill dau yn anafiedig.

Ar nodyn mwy cadarnhaol i Marsh, mae Ceri Jenkins ac Ifan Evans ar gael i'w cynnwys yn y garfan, a bydd y rheolwr a'r prif hyfforddwr Meirion Appleton yn gobeitho fod digon gan eu tîm i gynnig heb y chwaraewyr sy'n eisau.

Bont are set to kick off the new season this Saturday with a home cup draw against Carno.

The game represents the first round of the FA Trophy, and manager, Andre Marsh will hope to start the new season in the same manor as his team ended the old one...with a cup victory.

The good news for home supporters is that new signing Glyndwr Hughes is available to play in his first game since returning to his home club from Aberystwyth town. Having sad this, a number of senior players are missing for Bont. Midfielder Owain Schiavone in unavailable due to family commitments, whilst club stalwart Sion Jones is away on holiday. The influential Dewi Sion Evans and Michael Lowe are also missing due to injuries.

On a more positive note for Mash, both Ceri Jenkins and Ifan Evans are available for selection and the manager and head coach, Meirion Appleton will be hoping their team have enough quality without those missing players.
